Advanced Soft Matter PCC31806

This year the Advanced Soft Matter practicum has a project related to the Smart Dust team. The Smart Dust team will be doing drop tower experiments in Bremen, to detect the collective behavior of a set of “smart” particles.

Natural and induced surface roughness determine frictional regimes in hydrogel pairs

The name says it all. Hydrogels come with very different surface roughnesses, which gives them different frictional behavior.
