Another workshop organized by and at the Lorentz Center in Leiden. It was good to spend time with all the granular experts!

Visiting Rennes again after Dygram 2006 shows that noting has changed, except perhaps the temperature. Thanks Axelle Amon for hosting!

Measuring pore pressure dynamics before and at the moment an earthquake happens reveals that the event is triggered in the contacts!

The course “Project” starts again this June – 100+ ast year BSc students come together in 35+ teams to spend time in the Amsterdam Physics & Astronomy research labs!
The famous Salamina Grain Works workshop were another marvel this year. Thanks Luigi for organizing an impeccable meeting at a impossibly perfect location.

Making durable pellets out of loose powders is a general engineering challenge. Here we add insights on the role of temperature in the various phases of this extrusion process.
